Shed off 5 kilos or more within 2 months


How can you resist the temptation of finger-licking yummy food when they catch your eyes sight. Think of the luscious appetizer, aroma of spices which seduce you to savour the delectable taste of main dish and also the side dishes. Last but not least, the appealing and dulcet desserts which make you crave for more and more. Desserts are always the best when drizzled with multi-layered of chocolate sauce and sprinkles of cinnamon, the best phrase to describe food is to "Get ready for a taste of heaven"! However, food can be impulsive murderers if you don't eat at a right portion which exceeds your daily energy intake.

Based on my true life experience, I gained a total of six kilos fat for the past few months during the chilling autumn and winter months. My mom even complaint a lot about my weight when she first saw me at Kuching airport, she actually gave me a jaw-dropping response. There must be a thought of "Why my daughter becomes so round and fat!" came across her mind. The heaviest me in July was 50 kilos and I seek it as a ridiculous nightmare for me *NO JOKE! Fyi, I maintain 44kg for two years before coming to Perth for my studies and gaining so much fat was terribly scare me to the edge of death. By living a hell life for 3 months with strict diet, I lost 5 whole kilos which means I am 45kg right now. If I don't get my 44kg weight back before next week, my mom is going to kill me! So, I have 1 more week to go to lose another 1 kilo before flying back to Kuching to enjoy my 3 months holidays.

I would like to share my experience of how to lose 5 kilos or more within 2 months. First, all you have to do is to don't make any excuse for not eating breakfast, lunch and dinner. Have them at the exact time. The latest time to have your breakfast is before 9 in the morning. I usually have my breakfast at 7 o' clock early in the morning because the first image appears in my mind when I first get up from my bed is food! Before having breakfast, I advice you to drink a glass of warm water. This is to ensure you are able to relish the taste of the food. You can have anything for the first meal of the day, such as kolomee, cha kuey teow, kueh chap, gu bak mee, dimsum or a simple breakfast like 2 pieces of wholemeal bread spreaded with jam, peanut butter, butter with pinches of sugar lining the top layer or cheese spread. Nowadays, young kids and teens have been sleeping so late and waking up late. Most of them usually wake up after ten o' clock when beam of sun light already starts dancing across the bedroom floor. If you are a lazy worm who always wake up late, try to sleep early in order to prepare your body for a fresh day earlier in the next morning. Waking up a little early wouldn't do any harm to you. Perhaps you can get a chance to see the sun rising glamorously in the east greeting twilight!


And next, to talk about lunch, you must include protein such as an egg, lean meat, a piece of seasoned chicken breast diced into cubes and pan-fried with an appropriate amount of canola oil or steamed fish. You must also include a plate of freshly-boiled vegetables coated with half a teaspoon of soy sauce to make it tastier and half a bowl of rice or porridge or oat to supply adequate amount of carbohydrates to your body cells. It is always better to oven-baked and to boil rather than frying. Hence, by eating a right amount of protein will increase your health fitness and it helps to shed off your fats faster.


What is the last meal of the day, kids say DINNER and I answer BINGO! Always remember that you always have to eat lesser for dinner as compared to the amount of serving you have for your breakfast and lunch. To add in, the most appropriate time for dinner is around 6 o' clock in the evening. And keep one thing in mind, never eat after 8! Only mineral water is available as your supper, no late night snacks and junks! I used to have some junks late at night during the time I was 50kg and the outcome was putting me on weight! Other than that, do not consume any food at the interval between breakfast and lunch, lunch and dinner, and also dinner and breakfast! Set a 4 or 5 hours time between your first and second meal and the subsequent meal. Do not worry about there is insufficient of energy to supply for liver activities, cells use and muscle contraction. Glucagon will do the job. Glycogen will be breaking down into glucose through a process called glycogenolysis which is stimulated by the hormone of glucagon (from alpha cell) in pancreas. It will act as a short term storage to supply energy to your body parts in between meals. I normally have oat as my dinner and an apple either in its green or pink coat. Recipes : Place a spoonful of Milo powder into a bowl to mix with 20g of oat. Pour in with hot water to soften the oat and to dissolve the Milo powder into liquid form . Then add in 20 ml of skim milk to make it tastier. In conclusion, our daily intake should not exceed 1700 calories so please record down what do you have for your meals. One last thing to end this para, always eat food which is high in fibre and minimize your sugar and salt intake.
The second step is to contribute yourself into vary types of exercise everyday. You may repeat the same exercise each day for the next and subsequent weeks. It is not effective in losing weight if you only take up 1 single type of exercise for the entire year. This is because your body system will gradually used to that exercise if you stick to it everyday. In general, the amount of energy you use to perform that particular workout will be getting lesser and lesser. So, same theory goes to the calories burnt. There are a great variety of exercises which help to tone your body muscles and burn all the annoying fats, such as squad, stationary bicycling, spouse, jog, yoga, dance, sit-ups, push-ups, rowing and etc. You can perform a 10 minutes duration workout for either 3 (at most 3 per day). It doesn't only benefit your health but also permit you to enjoy the tiny elements of each workout as soon as you engage into it. Do always exercise with positive thinking and happy face. Get your body ready to move!Thirdly, we should get an at least 7 hours sleep. It is a key to unlock the mystery of losing weight. If you don't sleep well, you will gain weight fast. Lack of sleep will elevate your level of hunger and alter your body's metabolism rate. However, sleeping too much can be troublesome too. So, please get the right amount of sleep. Teenagers shouldn't laze on the bed for more than 9 hours, I know many people struggle so hard to get up early but you will only feel more tiring if you get too much sleep. If you really want to walk off the fats, do as what I told. Develop a healthy eating habit and ban chocolates and junks from your life. But you can have some over the weekends to reward yourself but don't eat them while watching TV. Because you may grab more and more until you can even stuff up your stomach with the whole packet of snacks. Not to forget to serve at a right portion. To sum up, it is essential to eat a balanced diet, exercise happily and sleep well. These are the three most crucial aspects to lose weight!
