Who says that foreigner like us couldn't celebrate mooncake festival in Australia?
Freda, Mabel, Teng, Rachel, Nancy, Haylie, Veera and I joined Daphanie, Amanda, Kevin and JJ by celebrating mid-autumn festival around vickery house compound which is quite near to canning college. Thanks to Kevin and Nancy for treating us free mooncakes and sweetened tau sar piah, Amanda for buying lanterns (for the sake of camwhoring) and not to forget to thanks JJ of being a camera man.
We enjoyed a lot throught the whole night with beautiful moon shines high upon the dark sky surrounded by a blanket of twinkle twinkle little stars. It was the most wonderful night I have ever had in September because I felt gleeful to have a bunch of friends and housemates around me to celebrate mooncake festival together, just like a big warm family. And yeah, all of our cheerful laughters did break the dead silence of that chilling night.
Although I was not able to celebrate mooncake festival with my family back in Malaysia this year but I wasn't alone, at least. :) And last, I would like to thank Daphanie for her kind invitation.
